Job summary

Lacroixplg in Timmins is seeking a proactive HVAC/R technician to service, install, and commission commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC systems. The role covers walk-in coolers, chillers, rooftops, condensers, evaporators, compressors, and AC systems.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with schematics and diagnostic tools, read drawings, and ensure installations meet codes and safety standards. Team-oriented, safety-focused professionals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC-refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, chillers, rooftop units, condensers, evaporators, compressors, and AC systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Complete refrigeration system installations in compliance with codes and safety standards.
• Braze and purge/charge copper lines and fittings for HVAC/R systems including repairing leaks.
• Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
