Qualifications

• Previous experience as a HVAC / Refrigeration technician, or RTU technician.
• HVAC certification.
• Braising and soldering skills.
• Knowledge of local building codes.
• Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work on RTUs and HVAC systems.
• Inspect system components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, fan motors, fans, and expansion valves.
• Perform system checks, system troubleshooting, and refrigerant recovery.
• Perform electrical and gas system troubleshooting.
• Maintain records including daily service logs, refrigerant recovery reports, and service records.
• Research and resolve complex system problems.
• Complete assigned paperwork and forms
• Conduct safety inspections, including proper use of PPE, and verify safety regulations are followed.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of RTU/HVAC systems and be able to troubleshoot and repair issues as they arise. We are primarily an HVAC company but do work on chillers and smaller refrigeration systems
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Work on RTUs and HVAC systems

Education And Experience Requirements

• Previous experience as a HVAC / Refrigeration technician, or RTU technician.
• HVAC certification.
