Trotter & Morton Facility Services in Calgary is seeking an HVAC Technician Apprentice to join our 24/7 maintenance team. You will assist skilled technicians with installation, troubleshooting and service of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, while gaining hands-on training and career development.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to HVAC technicians servicing a wide customer base.
• Assist with assembly and installation of components using tools.
• Measure and cut piping as required.
• Assist with installations, troubleshooting and overhauls of systems.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as required.

Division: Facility Services - Trotter & Morton Facility Services

Part of the Trotter & Morton Group of Companies, Trotter & Morton Facility Services provides 24/7 preventive and predictive mechanical system maintenance and repair to condominiums, commercial, and institutional buildings.

We are looking to hire hard-working and committed individuals who will contribute to our team of experienced technicians by bringing their willingness to learn and high-quality workmanship to every job. We are currently looking for a HVAC Technician Apprentice to join our team!

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide support to HVAC Technicians who service a wide variety and base of customers
• Learn and assist with assembly and installation of refrigeration or air conditioning components such as motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators and compressors using hand and power tools
• Measure and cut piping
• Learn and assist with installations, troubleshooting and overhauling entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Accountable for the delivery of high customer service excellence levels.
• Responsible for sustaining high customer satisfaction levels
• Follow all company policies and procedures including Trotter & Morton's Health and Safety program
• Other duties as required

Required Skills

Required Experience

• Completion of applicable year schooling and working hours
• Experience in HVAC Service
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
