Qualifications

• Sharp, organized and confident on the phone, eager to learn.
• Diploma or degree in business, construction, engineering technology, or supply chain or related area.
• No years of mechanical experience required, willingness to learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Request and organize pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist with preparing customer quotations.
• Source equipment, parts and materials for upcoming work.
• Build relationships with vendors throughout the Lower Mainland.
• Compare supplier pricing, availability and lead times.
• Assist with purchase orders and procurement.
• Follow up on outstanding pricing and material requirements.
• Work with technicians, project managers, service and sales teams to understand job requirements.
• Help maintain accurate costing and quotation information.
• Learn how labour, equipment, materials, subcontractors and margins come together to build a job.
• Take on increasingly complex quotes and procurement responsibilities as knowledge develops.
