Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. in Markham, Ontario seeks an HVAC Designer to design and implement building control systems, selecting hardware and software from our Honeywell portfolio.

You will engineer sequences, create control drawings, and review customer specs to identify opportunities and risks throughout the proposal cycle. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma with 2–3 years in HVAC control systems engineering and proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or diploma in HVAC related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in HVAC control systems engineering.
• 1 year experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Design building control systems, selecting hardware and software from Honeywell portfolio.
• Engineer hardware, software, graphics, and control drawings.
• Review plans, surveys, estimates, and scope to define requirements.
• Prepare submittals and obtain hardware submittal approvals.
• Collaborate with Sales and Project Manager on retrofit opportunities.
• Program sequences after hardware drawings are approved by consultant.
