Job summary

Regulvar Inc. is seeking a Draftsperson in Kingston, Canada to design automatic regulation schemes for HVAC, lighting, access control and video surveillance systems.

You will determine technical specifications and compile equipment lists in support of large-scale building automation projects. Applicants should hold a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical, building or mechanical engineering and have strong skills in AutoCAD, Visio and Adobe Acrobat, plus Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• College diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical, building or mechanical engineering.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio and Adobe Acrobat Standard.
• Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing automatic regulation schemes from plans and specifications.
• Determining product technical specifications.
• Research the necessary components and prepare the list of equipment to order.
• Providing technical support to project managers.
