Salary:$60,000 - $70,000 + Benefits

Our client, a well-established architecture and design firm in Edmonton is looking for an organized and efficient Office Administrator and HR Professional to join their team. This firm has a relaxed and creative work culture and is involved in a wide range of projects. They encourage collaboration as well as professional growth.

THE ROLE
This is a true administrative role, which gives autonomy in creating efficiencies, process, and procedures. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, motivated and with exceptional administrative and MS Excel skills, to take ownership of the administrative function. The successful candidate will be versatile and can multi-task and can manage and oversee all administration within the HR department, assist with accounting, office administration, payroll support, marketing, and also including:
  • Managing confidential employee information
  • Onboarding and offboarding
  • New hire orientations, employee relations, labor relations
  • Talent Management and Talent Acquisition, Recruitment and postings
  • Processing all employee changes, including pay increases, promotions etc.
  • Administrative support to the firm
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor of Commerce preferable in HR
  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Outstanding administrative skills, including the use of MS Office and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills, and attention to detail, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned work
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment, as well as with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to maintain sensitive employee information, confidentially, in a mature and professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) coupled with strong interpersonal skills
