As British Columbia's flagship convention centre, the facility hosts hundreds of events each year and welcomes hundreds of thousands of attendees, generating significant economic activity for the province.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and supporting the day-to-day human resources function for Sodexo Live! operations at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
This position will serve as a trusted HR partner to operational leaders and employees, with a strong focus on hourly recruitment, employee relations, workforce planning, onboarding, training, performance management, HR administration and workplace compliance.
The HR Manager will help foster a positive, inclusive and respectful workplace while ensuring HR practices are consistent with Sodexo Live! policies, applicable collective agreements, and applicable British Columbia employment, human rights, workplace safety and privacy requirements.
