MUST be able to travel to USA

Role Overview

At Jule, we are looking for a Human Resources Generalist who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into a high-impact role supporting multiple companies—each with their own unique challenges, personalities, and opportunities. This role reports to the Human Resources Manager as we build and scale a people-first Human Resources framework from the ground up. From designing fresh programs to shaping policies that fuel innovation, agility, and collaboration, you’ll help create an environment where employees don’t just survive the pace — they own it.

This role offers enormous growth potential for someone who is a problem-solver and has a drive for continuous learning. We’re looking for a self-starter and team player—someone who’s actively engaged in the HR community (like being a member of the Human Resources Professional Association), stays current with workforce trends, and is genuinely passionate about clean-tech, EVs, sustainable energy—or all of the above.

If you're enthusiastic about human resources, proud to grow with the company you support, and ready to help us transition from startup to scaling success story, we’d love to hear from you!

  • Jule Power (CAN & USA): Jule Power is at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions, specializing in electric vehicle charging and energy storage. We’re committed to driving innovation in the tech and energy sectors.
  • InspecTech Analygas Group Inc.: Since 1977, InspecTech has been a leader in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) systems, providing customized solutions across various industries including oil, gas, and aerospace.

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs, build role profiles, and deliver a seamless candidate experience
  • Proactively build and maintain a strong talent pipeline using tools like LinkedIn, Indeed, career fairs, employee referrals, and academic partnerships
  • Oversee offboarding processes with professionalism and empathy, ensuring smooth transitions for departing employees
  • Stay on top of recruitment trends and the competitive talent landscape in clean-tech and manufacturing

HR Operations & Systems

  • Maintain accurate employee data and records in our HRIS (BambooHR), conducting regular audits and data validation
  • Manage system updates and documentation, ensuring users are trained and informed of changes
  • Support HR file and folder maintenance and ensure consistent documentation practices
  • Prepare internal communications related to system enhancements and HR process updates
  • Assist with compliance and policy review cycles, including supporting annual attestations

Employee Experience, Engagement & Culture

  • Coordinate performance management cycles including goal setting, check-ins, and reviews
  • Support employee training and development programs to foster growth and compliance
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to enhance the employee experience
  • Analyze engagement trends and recommend improvements based on data and industry insights

Employee Relations & Policy Guidance

  • Support managers with employee relations matters such as attendance, accommodations, and performance conversations
  • Coach employees and leaders through workplace challenges using a people-first approach
  • Provide guidance on employment standards, health and safety, human rights, and relevant legislation across Canada and the U.S.
  • Assist in resolving issues with tact, diplomacy, and a high level of discretion

Compensation, Benefits & Compliance

  • Conduct salary benchmarking and support the annual merit and bonus planning processes
  • Help maintain and administer benefits programs across our Canadian and U.S. operations, including renewals and open enrollment
  • Support classification reviews, job descriptions, and competency-based frameworks
  • Stay current with evolving employment legislation and ensure compliance across all policies and practices
  • Assist with health and safety compliance and support related initiatives as required by legislation or public health

What You Bring To The Team

  • 4–5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a progressively responsible generalist role
  • CHRP/CHRL designation (or in progress) is a strong asset
  • Experience in manufacturing, start-up, experience supporting multiple entities, consulting, or clean-tech environments is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of the Ontario Employment Standards Act and familiarity with U.S. employment practices
  • Proven ability to handle confidential matters with sensitivity, professionalism, and sound judgment
  • Demonstrated experience improving and streamlining HR processes and practices
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, reporting, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you can confidently work across all levels of an organization
  • Curious, solutions-focused, and proactive—you’re the kind of person who takes initiative and always looks for ways to add value
  • Experience supporting a multi-entity organization is a plus

Bonus Points If You Are

  • An active member of the Human Resources Professional Association
