Job description

We are seeking a proactive, business-focused HR Generalist to join a growing Canadian organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic HR partnership with hands‑on execution and wants meaningful visibility with leaders and employees.

You will serve as a trusted HR partner across Ontario and Quebec, supporting the full employee lifecycle while helping strengthen employee engagement, leadership capability, and practical HR processes.

What you’ll do
  • Partner with managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, coaching, recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration.
  • Provide confident, practical guidance on employment standards and HR best practices across both Ontario and Quebec.
  • Support payroll coordination, compliance, policy development, documentation, and day‑to‑day HR operations.
  • Build strong relationships with employees and leaders as a visible, approachable onsite HR resource.
  • Help develop and improve programs related to leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, and onboarding.
  • Travel periodically to Quebec to support employees and leaders at an additional location.
What you bring
  • Fully bilingual in English and French, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages. This is a mandatory requirement.
  • 2+ years of Canadian HR Generalist experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Ontario and Quebec employment legislation; experience supporting a Quebec‑based workforce is highly valued.
  • Experience with employee relations, performance management, leadership coaching, recruitment, and HR operations, ideally in the manufacturing industry.
  • Comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and providing sound HR guidance to leaders.
  • Able to work onsite in Mississauga five days per week and travel to Quebec monthly.
Why consider this opportunity?

This is more than a traditional administrative HR role. You will have the chance to shape how HR supports the Canadian business, build trust with employees, influence leaders, and contribute to broader people initiatives. It is well suited to an HR professional who wants both ownership and impact while remaining close to the day‑to‑day realities of the business.

Compensation: CAD $75,000–$90,000, with benefits, RRSP matching, and three weeks’ vacation.
