Job summary

AGAT Laboratories is hiring a Human Resources Generalist for its Mississauga on-site team. You will partner with managers and employees across HR functions to foster a positive workplace culture, ensure policy adherence, and support a broad employee lifecycle from recruitment through offboarding.

The role emphasizes collaboration with leaders across Canada, compliance, and operational excellence. CHRP/CHRL asset is considered an advantage, with a starting salary of $65,000+ CAD per year.

Qualifications

• Experience partnering with managers and employees across HR functions.
• Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of employee relations, performance management and investigations.
• CHRP or CHRL designation completed or in progress is considered an asset.
• Ability to maintain compliance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Support full-cycle recruitment activities, onboarding and employee development initiatives.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management and conflict resolution.
• Conduct and support workplace investigations and employee relations matters.
• Advise leaders on coaching, progressive discipline, performance improvement plans and terminations.
• Assist employees with benefits, RRSP programs, policies and HR-related inquiries.
• Partner with Payroll and Operations on disability management, accommodations and return-to-work programs.
• Analyze HR trends and support initiatives that enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

You'll work across a broad range of HR functions, partnering with managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle while collaborating with operational leaders and an experienced HR team across Canada.

The Opportunity

As our Human Resources Generalist, you will serve as a trusted partner to managers and employees, providing guidance and support across all areas of Human Resources. You'll help foster a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance, consistency and operational excellence throughout our organization.

What You Will Be Doing

• Partner with managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
