Job summary

AGAT Laboratories in Thunder Bay, Ontario is looking for a Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests, clients and service providers. You will manage calls, greet visitors, handle sign-in procedures, and perform general administrative tasks to support multiple departments.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least one year of administrative or customer service experience, strong written and verbal communication, and solid computer skills.

Summary:

Our Thunder Bay, Ontario location is hiring for a Receptionist. This position is an integral part of providing “Service Beyond Analysis” as the first point of contact for company guests and requires ongoing interaction with clients, service providers and other external parties.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for handling all incoming calls is a prompt and professional manner and transferring calls as required.
• Ensure all incoming visitors are greeted promptly and follow all applicable sign-in procedures.
• May be responsible for the sign in/out log in case of evacuation or other emergency.
• Administrative work to support various departments.
• Ensure office supply levels are maintained.
• Manage and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.

What you bring to the table:

• High School Diploma.
• 1+ year administrative experience.
• Experience in a customer service setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and computer skills.

The anticipated wage for this role is $20.00/hr
