Our Client

Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the automotive sector with multiple facilities across Ontario, is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist.

This role supports both Human Resources (HR) and Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) functions at the plant level. The successful candidate will work closely with the Plant Manager and collaborate with corporate HR and HS&E teams to ensure compliance and foster a positive workplace culture.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in HR and Health & Safety roles
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
• Familiarity with employment legislation (e.g., ESA, OHSA, Human Rights Code)
• CHRP designation or working toward it is an asset

Responsibilities

• Provide HR and HS&E support to plant leadership and staff
• Lead recruitment efforts for hourly and skilled trades roles
• Support employee relations, investigations, and performance management
• Coordinate training programs and maintain compliance records
• Promote adherence to company policies and safety standards
