The role requires coordinating full-cycle recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, and HRIS tasks, while maintaining confidentiality and partnering with managers to ensure smooth HR processes.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in administrative and/or HR role.
  • Experience with HRIS and MS Office applications.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience in fast-paced, team-oriented offices.
  • 1+ year in full cycle recruitment.

Responsibilities

Job description

Winpak is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator (Term) based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to play a key role in supporting core human resources and administrative functions.
We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator, reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner, to support full cycle recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and administrative operations. The Human Resources Coordinator will build strong collaborative relationships, coordinate HR activities, and support the delivery of key HR programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manager the full-cycle recruitment process. including sourcing and attracting qualified candidates, screening and interviewing applicants, coordinating selection and offers, conducting reference checks, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience in partnership with hiring managers.
  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, system updates, and employee integration.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate employee orientation and support a positive onboarding experience.
  • Provide administrative support to HR, including preparing correspondence, reports, and employee documentation.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and company events.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Assist with HR projects, reporting, and compliance with company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative and/or human resources role.
  • 2+ years of experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) similar software.
  • 2+ years of experience demonstrating strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • 2+ years of experience in a role that required exceptional interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  • 2+ years of experience handling confidential information with a high level of discretion.
  • 1+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment.
  • 1+ years of experience in full cycle recruitment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Office Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Previous experience coordinating onboarding/offboarding processes and employee programs is a strong asset.
Additional Information
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Work Location: 100 Saulteaux Crescent, Winnipeg, Manitoba (full-time onsite position)
  • There is limited bus access to this location.
  • 18 Month Term
