About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Attraction and sourcing: Collaborate with managers and lead the hiring full cycle recruitment process. Track efficiencies of the hiring process; measure success of candidate hiring process.
- Enabling successful employee transition: Prepare a role specific onboarding plan for each individual hire in collaboration with managers. Design programs to enable faster integration of employees.
- Being a coach and a partner: Conducting regular meetings with managers, offering HR advice when needed. Staying updated on employment laws and regulations and providing guidance to ensure compliance. Assisting in the development and implementation of HR processes and policies.
- Building a competitive organization: Work with the managers to identify relevant learning and development opportunities and support the change in behavior post training completed.
- Offboarding: Work with manager during the termination process to exit the employee, ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and issued at termination; conduct exit interviews to identify trends and recommendations.
- Strengthening company culture and employee experience: Providing advice and suggestions for cultural transformation initiatives to shape a strong organizational culture. Implementing HR interventions related to employee wellness, and talent management. Collaborating with management and personnel to resolve conflicts, promote positive employee relations, maintain a positive work environment, boost morale, and reduce turnover.
- Strengthen employee compensation and benefits program: Work with the Director of HR to manage the annual compensation process in collaboration with managers.
- Using data to influence decisions: Provide management reports with recommendations that help managers use data to make informed business decisions.
- Joint Health and Safety Committee: Participates in health and safety committee and supports safety initiatives as needed including training initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by the Director, Human Resources.
About You:
- Degree or diploma in HR or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner with strong recruitment experience.
- Possession of a professional HR designation (CHRP/CHRL) will be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in MS365 and experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS), with a preference for experience in Bamboo HR.
- Experience in building HR systems and processes from the ground up, with a keen eye on the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Knowledge and experience with employment standards and human rights legislation.
- Ability to influence, establish rapport and work with a diverse group of managers and employees.
- High energy, a strong work ethic, resilience, and versatility with with a focus on achieving results.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality documents, including PowerPoints, reports, and legal documents.
- Strong analytical skills with a preference for problem-solving and a conceptual thinking approach to determine the best HR practices.
- Ability to define and implement processes that enhance efficiency while maintaining value.
