Job summary

Bilton Welding & Manufacturing in Alberta seeks an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to guide people, culture, and organizational success across the business.

This role collaborates with leaders on workforce planning, talent sourcing, engagement, and risk mitigation, driving standards in Alberta workplaces and helping build teams that support future growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or skilled trades environments.
• Strong knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards, Human Rights legislation, WCB, and workplace investigations.
• CPHR designation or working toward designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source and attract top talent through networking, referrals, LinkedIn, Indeed, and industry connections.
• Build talent pipelines to support current and future workforce needs.
• Support employee engagement, workplace culture, and retention initiatives.
• Partner with leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.
• Navigate complex people matters, including incident management, return-to-work planning, workplace accommodations, investigations, and workforce risk mitigation.
• Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, and conflict resolution.

What You'll Do

• Proactively source and attract top talent through networking, referrals, LinkedIn, Indeed, and industry connections
