Our wonderful not-for-profit client, located in NE Calgary, is excited to add a Human Resources Administrator to their purposeful and passionate team. This individual can work anywhere from 28 – 32 hours per week with the opportunity for more hours depending on the company's needs.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role will provide support in areas such as administration, full cycle recruitment, payroll and act as the designated contact for all human resources related topics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Human Resources Manager with all department related responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact on all human resources issues and topics
  • Assist with full cycle recruitment, onboarding/training of new hires and Health and Safety programs
  • Support upgrade projects for continuous improvement in key human resources processes
  • Provide coverage and support in payroll and benefit administration and update the internal databases
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Education:

  • Human Resources Management Certificate or diploma is required

Qualifications:

  • Successfully complete a criminal background check
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is preferred
  • High proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll software (preferably Pay Works)
  • Working knowledge of employment standards and practices

Experience:

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in a Human Resources Administration role is required

Base Salary: $26.00 – 34.00 per hour

  • Salary based on experience
  • Free parking

Work Hours:

  • 28 – 32 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule

Remote Work:

  • This position is not remote and required to be on-site.

  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
