The HSE Training Coordinator will supports the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of HSE training programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. The candidate will manage systems for tracking compliance, support system-related change management activities, and collaborate with subject matter experts to optimize training solutions.

Here's how an HSE Training Coordinatorfor our Edmonton NAHQoffice contributes to our team:

  • Develop and update HSE training materials and programs.
  • Identify training needs and develop strategic solutions.
  • Apply adult learning methodologies to develop courses or programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
  • Develop and manage systems for tracking training compliance and capturing performance metrics.
  • Develop and facilitate learning management system training for administrators, managers, and learners.
  • Support the research and recommendations of learning and development infrastructure based on stakeholder feedback, market trends, new technology platforms, and best practices.
  • Plan, document, communicate, and execute system-related change management activities.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE training or a related role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Advanced understanding of records management and systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software.
  • Experience with systems tracking and data management.
  • Learner-focused approach to increase system utilization and optimize the end-user experience.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve configuration and functional business issues.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and manage multiple projects focusing on results.
