Job summary

Prysmian in Johnstown, Ontario, is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting strategic objectives.

You will develop safety programs, coordinate training, manage audits, and drive a Zero Beyond safety culture in collaboration with the Director of Health, Safety and Environment, facilities management and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Familiarity with Ontario workers’ compensation regulations.

Responsibilities

• HSE Compliance & Risk Management: develop and maintain policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical HSE support to operations and participate in reviews and training.
• Lead audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions with follow-ups.
• Coordinate safety programs and promote a behavior-based safety culture.
• Reporting: track KPI data and support safety process improvements.
