Job summary

Mondelez International in Ontario is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) leader to develop and deploy policies that reduce risk and promote a safe, sustainable plant culture. You will lead the HSE team, drive audits, investigations, and continuous improvement across the facility.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, professional certifications, and hands‑on experience in manufacturing safety, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Environmental Health and Safety in manufacturing.
• Must have completed EHS training (OSHA, EPA, DNREC).
• Experience with safety/environmental standards and ISO.
• Strong communication with all levels.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures to reduce risks.
• Manage and mentor site HSE team.
• Promote safety culture and continuous improvement across plant.
• Conduct safety audits and investigations; drive corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into operations.
