Podtech Data Centre Inc., a proud member of the IREN Group, seeks a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor Lead to join our Canadian team. You will develop and maintain HSE processes, drive compliance, and partner with operations across jurisdictions.

With a degree in Environmental Safety and at least 3 years’ experience, you will shape policies, assess risks, and lead safety initiatives to protect people and the environment in data-centre operations.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Environmental Safety or related accreditation.
• Min 3 years experience in occupational or process safety across diverse operations.
• Knowledge of legislation and industry best practices; experience implementing HSE systems.
• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Analytical thinking and strategic decision-making.
• Understanding of construction processes and electrical safety risk mitigation.
• Experience with defined HSE management systems and data-driven insights.
• Ability to execute plans and drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize the EHSS Management System.
• Foster continuous improvement across jurisdictions and cultures.
• Review health, safety, and environment risks regularly.
• Conduct performance reviews ensuring regulatory and Iris Energy standards.
• Collaborate with operations to develop HSE programs.
• Oversee safety reporting and performance metrics.
• Lead incident investigations and share lessons learned.
• Set annual and long-range safety, health, and training goals.
