Job summary

Iris Energy is seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor Lead in Canada to develop and optimize the EHSS Management System, drive risk reduction, and embed safety culture across growing operations.

You will coordinate with operations and management, develop new policies, and ensure compliance with governmental regulations. A degree in Environmental Safety and 3+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Degree or post-secondary diploma in Environmental Safety or accreditation.
• Minimum 3 years’ progressive experience in occupational or process safety across operations.
• Experience with legislation, industry best practices, and implementing HSE systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize the EHSS Management System to manage risks and opportunities.
• Embed continuous improvement across jurisdictions and cultures as the business grows.
• Conduct regular health, safety, and environment reviews to ensure compliance.
