IREN is seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor Lead in British Columbia to develop and optimize the EHSS Management System, driving continuous improvement across multiple jurisdictions. You will coordinate with operations and management to ensure regulatory compliance and positive safety outcomes.

The role emphasizes data-driven risk mitigation, incident investigations, and setting annual HSE goals while collaborating with diverse teams in a growing carbon-conscious data center

Qualifikationen

• Degree or post-secondary diploma in Environmental Safety or related accreditation.
• Minimum 3 years’ progressive experience in occupational or process safety across construction/utilities/industrial sectors.
• Experience with legislation and HSE systems, driving high performance.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills; collaborative with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and risk assessment abilities.
• Understanding construction processes and electrical infrastructure safety.
• Experience developing HSE management systems and data-driven insights.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and optimize the EHSS Management System to manage risks and opportunities.
• Embed a proactive culture of continuous improvement across jurisdictions and cultures.
• Provide regular review of health, safety and environment risks and controls.
• Conduct safety and environmental performance reviews to meet regulations and Iris Energy policy.
• Collaborate with operations and management to support HSE program development.
• Oversee safety reporting, metrics, and results to company and public agencies when required.
• Facilitate incident investigations and share learnings across operations.
• Develop annual and long-range safety, health, and training goals and plans.
