MISTRAS Services Inc. is seeking a seasoned Radiation Safety Officer to lead HSE and QMS programs across Western Canada, based in Calgary with travel ~50%. You will oversee radiation safety, incident investigations, and COR/ISO ISO 9000 compliance, while mentoring field safety personnel and supporting audits.

The role requires CEDO certification, regulatory knowledge, strong communication, and ability to drive safety performance in a multi-site environment.

Formación

• CEDO certification and radiation tickets valid.
• Experience in HSE/QA in Oil & Gas or NDE.
• Knowledge of OHS laws, COR and ISO 9001/9000.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication.
• Willing to travel ~50% across Western Canada; valid driver's license; able to lift 50 lbs.
• Pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screen and background check.

Responsabilidades

• HSE program leadership across Western Canadian field ops.
• Serve as RSO for Western Canada; oversee radiation safety program.
• Manage Western Canadian QMS processes and audits.
• Plan and execute safety observations and COR audits.
• Lead incident investigations; coordinate with health personnel.
• Support training and Site-Specific Safety Plans; mentor staff.
