Job summary

Ledcor Group seeks an HS&E Advisor to execute health and safety programs for telecom projects. You will develop Job Hazard Analyses and Safe Work Practices, support operations personnel, and improve performance through field collaborations.

You will inspect worksites, train staff, and mentor supervisors while aligning with Ledcor’s safety standards and Leading Indicator goals. Occasional travel across Alberta and beyond may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience in construction or telecommunications safety role.
• Strong consideration for telecom experience.
• Certificate or diploma in occupational health and safety.
• CRSP/CSO/NCSO designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site safety inspections and discuss safety concerns with field supervisors.
• Provide HS&E guidance and training to staff and orient new employees.
• Collaborate with HS&E leadership to develop and implement procedures and standards.
• Educate and mentor field supervisors on program implementation.
• Build relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to support safety goals.
• Verify HS&E plans and hazard assessments are current and updated with scope changes.
• Assist investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor the effectiveness of HS&E plan implementation across the project.
• Audit field-level hazard assessments and incident investigations for accuracy.
