Job summary

Calgary Board of Education is seeking an HRMS Business Analyst (Payroll) to optimize HRMS capabilities and payroll processes. The role involves partnering with clients, SMEs, and technical resources to deliver data-driven HR solutions.

You will design, test, and support HRMS modules, including payroll, time and labour, and benefits, while maintaining system integrity and documenting requirements and procedures. Hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• University degree with 3+ years supporting an Enterprise HRMS or certificate in Business Analysis with 5+ years experience.
• Experience with setup/configuration and execution of HRMS modules, including implementation and customization.
• Intermediate skills in MS Office; familiarity with data loads and reporting.
• Experience in a large, complex organization with a multi-union environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for HRMS requirements and provide HR data for decision making.
• Design, test, implement and support HRMS applications; document business processes.
• Troubleshoot system/process issues and assist users with training and procedures.
• Develop functional specs, perform UAT, and coordinate with departments for design and deployment.
• Define query/report requirements to extract data for stakeholders from HRMS.
• Coordinate security administration and ensure compliance with regulations and collective agreements.
