Job summary

Your Neighbourhood Credit Union (YNCU) is seeking an HR Coordinator, Data and Systems to ensure seamless HRIS integration, real-time reporting, and analytics across the organization. You will optimize HR technology, automate processes, and support recruitment, benefits, and recognition programs.

Working hybrid from Sault Ste. Marie or Kitchener, ON, you will collaborate with HR and IT to drive improvements, manage data integrity, and deliver high-quality HR services to employees and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree/diploma in a Human Resources, Business-related field, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience in HR, HR Operations, HR systems, analytics, payroll, or a related field
• Advanced Excel skills and a passion for working with data
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, and meaningful business insights
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Experience working with HRIS platforms, preferably Dayforce
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional partners
• Must be bondable

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of HRIS, including customization, development, maintenance, and data management.
• Generate various monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc HR reports, including employee details and usage reports.
• Process employee data such as new hires, departures, leaves, wage changes, benefit and pension enrolments, working hours, entitlements and other HR-related information.
• Lead and/or support HRIS upgrades, projects and system integrations.
• Create and manage user accounts, update employee information, and manage access permissions.
• Perform system upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support as needed.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and management to identify system improvements and enhancements; serve as an SME for core HR modules.
• Identify areas for improvement within HR processes and recommend enhancements using HRIS functionalities.
• Ensure the accuracy and security of HR data by conducting regular audits and maintaining data integrity.
• Train system users on functionalities and new features along with benefits of HRIS.
• Ensure the HRIS complies with relevant legislation and data protection requirements.
• Support the day-to-day management of our employee recognition platform and ensure the platform is accurate.
• Work with HR and other stakeholders to streamline HR processes and data integration with other systems.
• Provide excellent client service to internal and external parties and maintain effective relationships with client groups.
• Be aware of enterprise risk management issues as they relate to Human Resources.
