This is a full-time, permanent position, working 11 months per year. Hours of work are 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Following successful completion of the probationary period, the incumbent will be eligible for Extended Health and Dental Benefits, as well as Group Life Insurance. School District No. 73 belongs to the Municipal Pension Plan.
Under the limited supervision of the Manager of Human Resources, the incumbent facilitates the automated dispatch system for Teachers/TTOC and Support Staff/Casual replacements and records support staff absences and dispatches replacements as required. The incumbent ensures accuracy of absence/dispatch records and the efficient operation of the Dispatch system. Work is varied and requires independent judgement and initiative supplemented by a strong understanding of the organization and structure of the School District, as well as the Collective Agreement(s) and contract provisions.
