What You Will Do:

As a HR Specialist, Talent Acquisition, you will play an essential role within our Corporate Services reporting to the Manager, Human Resources. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Lead the Company’s Recruitment, Selection, Onboarding, and Orientation Processes;
2. Manage the administration of Corporate Functions and Employee Relationship Programs;
3. Guide the Job Description Editing and Approval Process;
4. Oversee Processes Associated with Employee Resignation, Termination, and Retirement.

What You Will Bring:

Required qualifications:

• University Degree in Human Resources or equivalent;
• Registered Professional Recruiter Designation or equivalent;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in general HR functions including 2 years in talent acquisition;
• Valid Alberta Driver’s Licence.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• Comprehensive knowledge of employment law and legislation;
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills;
• High attention to detail;
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, be intuitive, and approachable;
• Ability to read, comprehend, and apply contract language;
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict guidelines;
• High level of integrity and ethical standards;
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office 365 Suite;
• Experience with HRIS;
• Advanced skills with recruiting systems or similar software.
