Siemens Healthineers Canada is seeking an HR Operations Partner for a newly created contract role. You will ensure the integrity of the Canadian HR framework, standardize policies, and drive automation across HR processes in a global context.

The role partners with NAM HR and Legal, leads audits and country-wide shared services initiatives, and requires 5+ years in HR operations with strong Canadian legislation knowledge, policy design experience, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5+ years of progressive human resources operations experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and staying current as it evolves.
  • Experience designing and implementing HR policies, programs, and processes end to end.
  • Change management and communication skills to bring colleagues along through change.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing legislatively sensitive documents.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead projects to completion.
  • Strategic mindset to assess policy changes impact on systems and workflows.
  • Ability to use data to make sound recommendations and resolve issues.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and HR technology/automation.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with NAM HR to review Canadian policies and standardize them with compliance and clarity.
  • Present policy change recommendations with rationale, risk assessment, and implementation plans.
  • Establish an annual policy review cycle aligned with global standards.
  • Collaborate with legal to align employment templates and communicate changes.
  • Integrate templates into annual review processes to keep them current.
  • Identify opportunities to automate HR processes and reduce manual effort.
  • Design and implement scalable automated solutions with NAM HR.
  • Own and manage HR knowledge articles on the intranet.
  • Lead internal and external audits, RFP responses, and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate country-wide shared services development across HR CoEs.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the integrity of our Canadian HR framework, spanning policy governance, process improvement, and automation to ensure our people practices are globally aligned and built to scale. You will partner closely with both the Canadian and broader North American HR teams to drive consistency and efficiency across our people programs.
