Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Human Resources Manager to coach and advise People Managers across the US and Canada, with a focus on lifecycle HR delivery. The role is hybrid in Toronto with in-office requirements and a strong emphasis on employee relations, program rollout and cross‑functional collaboration.

You will work with HR CoEs and business leaders to drive practical HR solutions, ensure regulatory compliance, and support key HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ relevant HR experience with suitable qualifications.
• Experience supporting colleagues and leaders in the US and Canada.
• Ability to work independently with initiative, discretion and tact.
• Experience supporting employee relations case management including investigations.
• Proven ability to coach managers across the employee lifecycle.
• Experience delivering HR projects with business objectives in mind.
• Strong knowledge of US and Canadian laws and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration across HR teams.
• Advanced skills in MS Office and openness to learning new tools.

Responsibilities

• Coach and advise People Managers to improve people management across the lifecycle.
• Coordinate rollout and delivery of HR programs and drive process improvements.
• Provide guidance on performance management, development, ER, succession and leaves.
• Handle employee relations issues and escalate complex matters to ER CoE as needed.
• Build strong relationships with Tax, Finance, Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition teams.
