Job summary

Marsh in Toronto is seeking a Human Resources Manager to coach, support and advise People Managers across the colleague lifecycle, with a focus on rolling out HR programs and enhancing people management quality. The role involves cross-border collaboration with the US and Canada teams and partnering with CoE for complex employee relations matters.

This is a fixed-term, full-time position based in Toronto with a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days in the office per week.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years' HR experience in US/Canada
  • Ability to work independently with initiative, discretion, and tact
  • Experience in employee relations case management including investigations
  • Coach managers across the employee lifecycle including complex situations
  • Experience supporting HR program rollout and cross-functional collaboration across teams

Responsibilities

  • Coach, support and advise People Managers across the colleague lifecycle
  • Coordinate rollout and delivery of HR programs and drive process improvements
  • Support employee relations matters and investigations with CoE guidance as needed
  • Cultivate relationships with Tax, Finance, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition to align HR and business goals
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory obligations and provide local implementation guidance
