EIZIE in Canada is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources department and align HR strategies with organizational goals. This role focuses on fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting team growth.

You will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training, compensation, and policy development, while ensuring compliance and driving engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; SHRM-CP or PHR desirable.

  • Manage Employee Relations: address concerns, resolve conflicts, promote inclusive culture.
  • Design and oversee Performance Management: goal setting, reviews, and feedback.

  • Oversee Compensation and Benefits design and administration.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure HR compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Drive Employee Engagement initiatives to boost retention.
  • Collaborate on Succession Planning to ensure leadership pipeline.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead our human resources department. As an HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with our organizational goals. This position is ideal for a seasoned HR professional with a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting the growth and development of our team members.

Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and facilitating the orientation of new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management programs, including goal setting, regular performance reviews, and feedback sessions to drive employee growth and development.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs, design and implement training programs, and facilitate continuous learning and development opportunities for employees.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Policy Development: Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and create a fair and consistent work environment.
  • HR Compliance: Stay updated on employment laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's compliance and updating policies as necessary.
  • Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Succession Planning: Collaborate with leadership to identify key talent, develop succession plans, and ensure a pipeline of skilled individuals for critical roles.
Skills Required
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR are highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with leadership and employees.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with team members, leadership, and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address complex HR issues.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing organizational needs and industry trends.
  • Strategic Thinking: A strategic mindset with the ability to align HR strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Empathy: A high level of empathy and the ability to understand and respond to the needs and concerns of employees.
