Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking an HR Generalist in the Greater Toronto Area to own full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing employee relations. The role includes administering performance reviews, benefits, leaves, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.

You will manage records, coordinate offboarding, and advise managers on policy administration while maintaining confidentiality.

About the Opportunity

• Own full-cycle recruitment and onboarding, from job postings and resume screening through offer letters, contracts, and new hire orientation, while acting as the primary point of contact for employee relations and manager coaching
• Administer performance management, benefits, and leave programs, including PIPs, probationary reviews, medical and parental leaves, and accommodation and return-to-work coordination
• Maintain employee records and payroll-related updates, ensure compliance with employment legislation, and coordinate offboarding and terminations from documentation through final pay

About You

• An HR professional with progressive generalist experience who is comfortable owning the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through offboarding, with confidence handling sensitive employee relations matters
• Strong working knowledge of employment standards, health and safety, and human rights legislation, with experience supporting workplace investigations and policy administration
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality while providing day-to-day guidance to managers and leadership

Pay Range

$30 - $32 per hour

This position for employment is for a current vacancy with Vaco/Highspring’s client. You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
