Job summary

Ontario HIV Treatment Network is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to foster a positive, respectful, and legally compliant workplace. The role focuses on employee and labour relations, investigations, workplace conflict resolution, and support for compensation, job evaluation, and policy development.

The successful candidate will advise leaders and staff, support recruitment, training, workforce planning, and engagement, and act as a trusted advisor in a unionized

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a unionized environment.
• Hands-on Dayforce experience including lifecycle transactions, reporting, and dashboards.
• Advanced Excel skills for tracking and data integrity.
• Experience in compensation, pay equity, and job evaluation is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on collective agreement interpretation and employment legislation.
• Support investigations into harassment, discrimination, and misconduct; ensure fairness and documentation.
• Lead or support grievance handling and union negotiations with proper records.
• Advise on compensation, salary reviews, and market benchmarking.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, orientation, and Dayforce data integrity.
