  • Help ensure HR practices and documentation are aligned with Canadian and US employment requirements and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with payroll, benefits, finance, IT, and other internal teams to ensure smooth employee lifecycle processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve local HR processes, employee experience, and ways of working.
Business Partnering

  • Support leaders with organisational changes, workforce planning, employee relations, engagement, performance, talent, and team effectiveness topics.
  • Use people data, feedback, and local insight to help leaders identify risks, opportunities, and practical solutions.
  • Balance commercial awareness with employee experience, providing pragmatic advice and escalating complex matters where appropriate.

  • Coordinate office supplies, vendors, facilities requests, local events, and practical workplace requirements.
  • Support health, safety, and workplace procedures locally, working with relevant internal and external partners as needed.
  • Act as a local culture and engagement champion, helping connect the Canadian office with global team activities and communications.
What we're looking for:
  • Typically 2–4 years’ as an existing HR Business Partner.
  • Experience supporting employees and managers in Canada is preferred; exposure to supporting US colleagues would be an advantage.
  • Exposure to employee relations, onboarding, performance processes, HR systems, benefits, or payroll coordination would be beneficial.
  • Experience in an international, scaling, SaaS, technology, or multi-site business would be an advantage.
  • Relevant HR qualification, degree, or equivalent practical experience is desirable.
  • Good working knowledge of Canadian and US HR practices, with the ability to know when to seek specialist advice.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with confidence managing both structured processes and ad hoc requests.
  • Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders, with the judgement and maturity to handle sensitive topics appropriately.
  • Ability to switch between strategic support and operational delivery, staying calm and effective when priorities change.
  • Comfortable working independently in Canada while supporting colleagues across Canada and the US, and staying well connected to a London-based CHRO and global team.
