Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR experience focused on client-facing organizations, preferably in financial services.
  • CHRP designation preferred.
  • Experience in performance management and organizational development.

We’re looking for our next HR Business Partner. Could It Be You?

As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, supporting the Chief Client Officer’s leadership team. Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, you will provide dedicated HR partnership to Directors and People Leaders within QFG’s Sales and Service function, focusing on employee relations, talent management, performance management, and organizational development. Your ability to understand the unique needs of client/customer facing organizations, including contact center teams, quality, coaching, training, sales, and service, will be essential to fostering a high-performing and engaged working environment.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for Directors and other people leaders within Sales & Service.
  • Collaborate with the Director, People & Culture, to develop and implement HR strategies that support the achievement of business goals for the Sales and Service function.
  • Partner with people leaders to address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and ensure fair and consistent application of company policies.
  • In collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team, manage the TA process ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning, to drive employee performance and development.
  • Facilitate organizational development initiatives, including training, on such topics related to change management, team building, people leader enablement sessions, and leadership development, to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends related to the supported client groups to identify opportunities for improvement and develop proactive solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all HR practices.
  • Maintains an awareness of emerging trends and best practices in HR and liaises with HR peers to ensure policies and procedures stay current and market competitive
  • Other duties as assigned, including contributing to strategic HR project work.


So are YOU our next HR Business Partner? You are if you…

  • Have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Have 5+ years of HR experience, with a focus on supporting client-facing organizations, preferably within the financial services/technology industry. Preference for candidates with call centre experience.
  • Have the CHRP designation.
  • Have sound knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. Job Evaluation experience is a plus!
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Have demonstrated ability to influence and partner with mid-sr level leaders and their teams.
  • Have a proven track record of successfully managing employee relations issues.
  • Have experience with performance management, and organizational development, with significant employee relations experience in a contact centre/client facing environment.
  • Have proficiency in HRIS systems, preferably Dayforce.
  • Have the ability to garner trust and provide sound counsel and coaching
  • Are collaborative, proactive and results oriented
  • Have strong presentation and group facilitation skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can easily navigate ambiguity
  • Have advanced communication skills - verbal and written
