What is the opportunity?
As the Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) reporting to the VP of HR, Wealth Management and Insurance, you will provide strategic advice and counsel to the Global Asset Management (GAM) senior leadership teams on all aspects of Human Resources including talent management, leadership development, employee engagement, compensation management, performance enablement, organizational design and change management.

Strategy Development and Execution: Work across HR and with the Wealth Management/Global Asset Management senior leadership teams, to build and execute talent strategies that unlock the potential of people, enable innovation and drive business growth.
Advice and Consultation: Partner effectively and strategically with key stakeholders in HR and across RBC, to provide the best advice and counsel that drive the right people and organizational outcomes; conversant with HR data and its analysis/insights to guide decisions and actions that strengthen RBC’s inclusive and high-performance culture.
Talent Performance and Development: Work with the leadership team to attract, develop and retain the very best talent; build and sustain executive bench strength for critical leadership roles; develop succession strategies and pipelines aligned to long-term business strategies.
Organization Development: Ensure organization structures enables business goals (e.g., growth, faster decision-making, client first focus, employee experience, cost efficiencies, etc.); Build an
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in Human Resources, including experience in an HR Business Partner role working directly with senior leaders for Wealth Management and Asset Management firms
Proven Leadership Model capabilities, strong aptitude for change management and leadership effectiveness.
Strong consultative orientation and relationship management capabilities including the ability to impact, influence, and constructively challenge senior leaders.
Strong business, financial and investment acumen
Ability to balance competing priorities for multiple stakeholders, build strong relationships with CoE and functional partners.
Data and analytics orientated and strong ability to make data-informed talent recommendations.
Proven ability to understand, assess and respond to complex situations and provide strategic and innovative solutions to drive outcomes and results.
Strong communications, analytics and digital skills
Nice-to-have:
Undergraduate degree in business (or with business as a secondary stream)
HR related designations to complement undergraduate degree
