We are seeking a Temporary Human Resource Business Partner to join our Regional Corporate team supporting Moncton, NB & Miramichi, NB. The position is based in either city, depending on the successful candidate's preference.

This is a full-time temporary role for 15 months. You will report to the Human Resources Manager and support management and staff by providing expert advice on employee and labour matters, coaching on organizational best practices, and participating in initiatives to improve the workplace.

About the Opportunity

Working with a dedicated team, you will:

• Serve as a strategic HR partner for leaders, providing consultation and guidance
• Offer confidential advice on employee and labour relations, performance, engagement, recruitment, and workforce planning
• Coach leaders to build capacity and leadership skills
• Support foreign worker programs, abilities management, and leave administration
• Guide grievance processes and collective agreement interpretation
• Ensure HRIS and workforce system procedures are followed throughout the employee lifecycle
• Participate in HR policy reviews, updates, and implementations
• Advise on HR policies, procedures, and processes
• Promote safety by adhering to operational procedures and training

About You

You value continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability, and bring:

• An undergraduate degree in HR or equivalent experience
• At least five years of HR experience in a unionized environment
• Knowledge of NB employment, labour, and Human Rights laws and HR disciplines
• Ability to prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced setting

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Professionalism and confidentiality

• Healthcare sector experience is a plus
