McCormick Canada, a leader in the spice, seasoning, and flavoring industry, is seeking to hire an HR Business Partner I for our London office. Our company values the power of people, fostering a culture of respect, recognition, inclusion, and collaboration.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Human Relations Business Partner II, this role acts as a strategic partner to internal clients and leadership teams, supporting organizational goals through various HR programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Partner with client groups to establish goals, recruit, train, coach, mentor employees, and support program adherence.
  2. Develop and administer HR programs, policies, and practices aligned with McCormick’s values.
  3. Lead HR process improvements, manage change initiatives, and ensure effective implementation.
  4. Serve as the first contact for employee relations, providing coaching, guidance, and support, and managing investigations and documentation.
  5. Support recruitment activities, including onboarding, internships, and summer programs.
  6. Manage HR programs such as Rewards & Recognition, Performance Management, and succession planning.
  7. Perform administrative duties like tracking metrics, maintaining employee records, and preparing communications.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Business, HR, Psychology, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Experience in employee relations and investigations.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage projects, organize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Leadership qualities, ethical behavior, and professional maturity.
  • Willingness to travel locally as needed.
