Time Type: Full Time

Core Purpose and Essence of the Position: Responsible for providing administrative HR duties to a defined area of the business. This position will perform administrative human resources duties to support legal compliance, time & attendance, personnel records, onboarding, and terminations, as well as additional operational functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Provide local Administrative HR support to managers and employees with various HR-related issues.
  2. Input accurate personnel information in Time.
  3. Verify employee work hours, update missing punches, and resolve discrepancies.
  4. Run and process various time and employee reports on a consistent basis.
  5. Run payroll reports and send employees' hours to payroll and recruitment agencies.
  6. Assist HR Specialist in phone screening, background checks, and interviewing for Warehouse and Material Handler roles.
  7. Manage vacation hours accruals and send reports to departmental leaders monthly.
  8. Coordinate with recruitment agencies on agency workforce matters.
  9. Follow up on absences from contract team members.
PRIMARY INTERACTIONS:

The primary exchange will be working with HR, Team Lead, Supervisors, Warehouse Associates, and Managers.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree in human resources management or equivalent experience; CHRP is preferred.

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Human Resources Assistant, with a focus on employee relations.
