Job summary

University Health Network (UHN) seeks an experienced BI Developer to build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for the People & Culture department, turning workforce data into actionable insights. You will own Workday and UKG reporting during the HRIS transformation, partnering with P&C and Enterprise Data teams to translate stakeholder needs into scalable dashboards.

You will influence the evolving data model, serving as the main link to shape reporting requirements and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, analytics-related field, or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of practical experience building Power BI dashboards on governed semantic models.
• Strong understanding of Power BI, Fabric architecture, DAX, and semantic models.
• Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Medallion Architecture for reporting on semantic models.
• Microsoft PL-300 and/or DP-600 certifications are strong assets.
• Excellent requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement skills for translating business needs into dashboards.
• Working understanding of People Analytics concepts and metrics.
• Experience using Workday and/or UKG as data sources is a strong asset.
• Healthcare or regulated environment experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for People & Culture, using strong DAX and data visualization practices.
• Serve as liaison between People & Culture and Enterprise Data Team on data infrastructure needs.
• Lead reporting requirements for Microsoft Fabric as part of HRIS transformation, including technical specs for people data metrics.
• Provide input into semantic model design and ensure analytics endpoints meet reporting needs.
