Job description

Job Title: HR Analyst / HR Program Specialist

Duration: 5 months

Location: Toronto, ON

Work type: Hybrid – 2-3 days a week (Tuesday is anchor day)

Pay Range: C$25 - C$30/Hr


Job Responsibilities:

  1. The HR Program Specialist role is an assignment focused on supporting testing and implementation activities for the launch of a new compensation system, while also contributing to year-end compensation delivery for enterprise compensation programs. Flexibility to adjust your work schedule during year-end is essential.
  2. Reporting to the Senior Manager for Compensation Effectiveness & Delivery, your responsibilities include:
  3. Supporting system readiness through business acceptance testing and validation of configuration to ensure accurate compensation delivery.
  4. Supporting the delivery of a new year-end compensation decision system, including data uploads, analysis, system testing, process review, and documentation.
  5. Developing and executing diverse compensation programs, tools, and activities for various business units.
  6. Providing expertise and guidance on compensation programs and reporting.
  7. Identifying and addressing issues, trends, and gaps, and conducting investigations within defined parameters.
  8. Collaborating with business partners to resolve issues, streamline processes, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  9. Building and maintaining relationships with internal partners globally, keeping abreast of changes, and streamlining interaction models and processes.
  10. Conducting data analysis to draw conclusions, make recommendations, and assess program effectiveness.
  11. Maintaining a culture of risk management and control through effective processes aligned with risk appetite.
  12. Staying informed about changing legal/regulatory requirements and consulting with HR policy/process owners to ensure compliance.
  13. Contributing as a team member, promoting a positive work environment, and ensuring timely communication of issues.

Must Have:

  1. Testing experience
  2. HR Program Specialist experience
  3. Experience working with HR Partners and Program Delivery managers.
  4. Working and managing relationships with stakeholders (internal & external)
  5. Needs to support off hours (After hours and weekends as needed)
  6. Excel experience (High level of experience)
  7. HR Analytics experience
