Job description

Shift: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 3 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for Windsor union employees for payroll-related issues, attendance, grievances, and overtime inquiries
  • Manage payroll processes, including timekeeping and attendance updates
  • Oversee disciplinary actions as needed and collaborate with supervisors and union representatives
  • Assist with internship programs and support the HR Manager with compensation and benefits
  • Maintain and update employee records in PeopleSoft, Resources for You, and Kronos, ensuring audit compliance
  • Organize personnel files, manage training records, prepare employment contracts, and oversee contract payments
  • Contribute to the development of site-specific policies and generate HR metrics reports
  • Participate in wellness initiatives and process improvement projects, including managing the Overtime Equalization process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • 2+ years of union experience (Canadian/US union experience required)
  • 2-3 years of HR experience
  • 1-2 years in the automotive/manufacturing industry
  • 2+ years of payroll experience (ADP CAD/USA)
  • Experience with Kronos and PeopleSoft
