Job summary

Pacifica Housing is seeking a Housing Support Worker to join our Supportive Housing programs in Nanaimo. You will provide tenant-centered assistance and participate in a dedicated team delivering housing-first services to residents, including advocacy, life skills coaching, and coordination with community resources.

The role requires First Aid and naloxone training, with caseload support, documentation, and collaboration with mental health and health care partners.

Qualifications

• Experience providing client-centered support in housing or social services.
• Ability to follow housing-first philosophy and policies.
• Proficiency with documentation and case management coordination.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centered support per tenant plans.
• Maintain and evaluate personalized support plans.
• Assist with case management and community referrals.
• Coordinate with clinicians, ACT teams, and emergency services.
