Job summary

Meadow Lake Housing Authority in Meadow Lake, SK is seeking a permanent, full-time Building Services, Level 2 worker to maintain housing units and perform minor repairs.

You will handle routine maintenance, inventory controls, janitorial duties, and groundskeeping including snow removal, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly and confidentiality.

The role requires Grade 12, on-call availability for emergencies, a valid driver’s license and a Vulnerable Sector check; teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or equivalent required.
• On-call availability for emergencies (evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Valid driver’s license and a valid Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check required.
• Ability to work with management, staff and tenants and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure housing units are rent ready by performing building maintenance and minor repairs.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks and inventory controls.
• Assist with garbage removal and janitorial duties.
• Groundskeeping including grass cutting and snow removal.
