Job summary

Pursuit in Banff is seeking a proactive housekeeping/maintenance associate to join our hospitality team. You will complete room inspections after move-outs, handle basic repairs, conduct deep cleaning, and support the housing team with inspections and upkeep.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering a personal guest experience. A valid Alberta driver’s license and strong English communication are required, with the ability to lift 50–100 lbs and perform manual duties.

Qualifications

• At least one year of housekeeping or maintenance experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs and perform manual duties.
• A valid Alberta driver's license.
• Positive, self-motivated mindset for creating the best team member experience.
• Must have strong English communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete room inspections after move-outs to ensure cleanliness.
• Complete basic repairs and attend to maintenance requests.
• Conduct deep cleaning tasks and project work such as painting, coordinating furniture moves, troubleshooting appliances.
• Snow removal and lawn care.
• Support the Housing Manager with capital projects and staff housing improvements.
• Assist the housing team with bi-monthly inspections.
• Clean and prepare any rooms that do not meet established standards for move ins.
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• Clean public areas as required (such as kitchens and bathrooms).
• Arrange for monthly common area clear outs.
• Meet and greet new team members as instructed by the housing team.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
