Job summary

The Jordan Hotel in Niagara wine country is seeking a dependable Houseperson Associate to support our housekeeping team and ensure the property remains welcoming and well maintained. You will help keep public areas clean, assist with linen deliveries, and address guest requests with a friendly, professional approach.

Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or housekeeping experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs; bending, reaching and kneeling).
• Comfortable walking and standing for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of property public areas including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, stairwells, and elevators.
• Assist room attendants by delivering linens, towels, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
• Remove trash, recycling, and soiled linens from guest floors and service closets.
• Restock housekeeping closets and ensure supplies are organized and accessible.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Support setup and breakdown for special events or meeting rooms (if applicable).
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned.
• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
