Alt Hotel Winnipeg is seeking a diligent housekeeping team member to ensure clean and inviting spaces. You will help maintain common areas, stock bedding on all floors, and respond to guest requests with care and creativity to improve their experience.

The role emphasizes punctuality, optimism, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced hotel environment. A friendly, proactive attitude and physical stamina are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or an asset.
• Experience in a similar position is an asset.
• Good physical condition: standing for long periods and ability to bend, lift up to 50 lb.
• Autonomy, proactivity, good management of priorities and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure housekeeping of common areas and document all issues to be corrected.
• Participate in all cleaning, handling, and room availability tasks.
• Perform layout and furnishing changes; disassemble/reassemble furniture.
• Gather laundry items and stock all floors with bedding.
• Perform specific cleaning tasks for draperies, windows, balconies, decks, carpets, floors, etc.
• Respond to guest requests with care and attention and contribute to continually improve their experience.
