Job summary

Germain Hotels group in Winnipeg is seeking a dedicated housekeeping team member to ensure clean, inviting spaces and well-equipped room attendants. You will handle a variety of housekeeping duties across the property and contribute to a positive guest experience.

Ideal candidates are reliable with a preferred high school diploma, physical stamina for long standing periods, and the ability to manage priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in a similar position is an asset.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb.
• Autonomy, proactivity and prioritization of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure housekeeping of common areas and document issues to be corrected.
• Participate in all cleaning, handling, and room availability tasks.
• Perform layout and furnishing changes; disassemble/reassemble furniture.
• Gather laundry items and stock all floors with bedding.
• Perform cleaning tasks for draperies, windows, balconies, decks, carpets, floors, etc.
• Respond to guest requests with care and attention, contributing to guest experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
